Welcome to ACTS - The One Stop Training Centre!

We are providers of the UK Government approved Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Workforce professional qualification programmes. Our training qualification suite includes: the Apprenticeship Programme, the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and individual bespoke courses, tailored to specific client groups. At ACTS, we deliver training programmes at all levels, from mandatory through to leadership and management. We are dedicated to enabling Social Care Workers deliver a high quality service, in line with regulatory requirements.

Our Training Suite

Mandatory & Certificated Courses

We provide a wide range of certified courses (both Mandatory & Short Courses). Our courses include those regulated by Awarding Organisations and others certified by Approved Organisations (e.g. ProTrainings). We also deliver bespoke training Courses tailored to the requirements of individual client groups.

First Aid Courses

• First at Work (RQF – 3 day course)
• First at Work (Requalification – 2 day course)
• Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day course)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course
• Paediatric First Aid (RQF – 2 day course)

Leadership & Management

Our Leadership & Management Programme is designed for staff in management roles, looking to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Health & social care & Children and Young people’s Services.

RQF & Apprenticeships in Health & Social Care

Our RQF & Apprenticeship courses range from levels 1 – 5, and provides learners with a simpler way to compare and understand qualifications. Learners’ competencies in their knowledge, skills and behaviours are assessed and certified.

Education & Training

We offer the Award in Education & Training (AET) Programme – Level 3, which is the minimum requirement for Learners preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector.

Functional Skills

At ACTS, we provide relevant Functional skills training and support, to all Learners on the Apprenticeship Programme as they approach “Gateway”. Our Functional Skills courses: English, Maths & Information and Communications Technology (ICT), are also designed to provide necessary stand-alone qualification to Learners aged 14 and above.
